Saturday night (Sept. 25) The SouthSide Playas made their return to (BWF) Bruiser Wrestling Federation in Farmville, VA. The Playas signed to face The SET (Jay Sinn & Lance Lube) once again with the BWF Titles on the line. After a real hard fought battle Simply Perfect (Mike & Tommy Williams) came to ringside to help The SET but the interference backfired allowing the Playas to get the victory over The SET and retain the BWF Titles. |
| Playas debut in TCW, lose 3-way Tag Title Match |

Saturday night (Sept. 11) The SouthSide Playas made their debut in (TCW) Traditional Championship Wrestling in Climax, NC. The Playas showed up and demanded to have a match for the Tag Titles so officials included them in the title match making it a 3-way tag team match with the Playas vs Champions "New Era" Jimmy Parker & Shane Phoenix vs The Nu Bluds. The Playas lost the match when the champions got the victory over The Nu Bluds while the Playas were on the floor. |
| Playas join Comic Book Realm, agree to sell comics on site |

The SouthSide Playas have now entered the world of Comic Books, The Playas have announced that they have teamed up with the site ComicBookRealm.com to sell some comic books on the site. Also announced is the fact that anyone who buys one of the Playas sponsored comics will receive an autographed picture with their purchase, all Playa sponsored comics are listed under the name J-Money or Will B. The Playas will also begin sponsoring comics on the site ComixCon starting sometime in the month of September as details are being worked out |
| Playas get win in 6- person Tag Team Match for WCW |

Saturday night (July 10) The SouthSide Playas made their return to (WCW) World Class Wrestling in Bluefield, WV. The Playas who were signed to face the team of Simply Perfect (Mike & Tommy Williams) for the WCW Tag Titles but after the Playas had to save The Boxing Babe from an attack by Simply Perfect earlier in the show the Playas challenged the champs to a six-person tag team match with Simply Perfect and their manager Gregory Williams against The Playas and The Boxing Babe. A hard fought battle ended when the referee counted the victory for the Playas. |
